My first Mk1 & I may need to sell her :(

I recently bought a 1983 GTI Mk1 - a complete impulse buy.!
As i've always wanted one. And one day there it was - However sadly I'm probably going to need to sell her so that i can get my camper ship shape for the summer.
I would really appreciate some feedback on what people think she is worth-ish?
some details:
Has done a fair few miles but has been really well looked after… Looking at Mot's she has only covered 3000 miles in the last 3 years and it seems a lot of referb has taken place in this time.
Loads of history / mot's + recent respray + new front shocks, recent refurb on alloys, new interior roof lining, and computer works too No Mods! not even radio… No rust !  

Bad-ish bits are:
3 keys one for petrol one ignition & one for doors!
Tear on drivers seat bolster.
Hydraulic arms not keeping boot lid up.

Its a shame you have to sell it so soon after you've bought it. Have you considered a tent and ditching the camper?

If its only recently purchased, then the best indication of its value will be how much you've just paid for it……

Very True…I hope but as i said it was a total impulse purchase.
I know very little about these babies.
I'm just totally struck by their beauty… It will be a sad day if she goes.

Suspension looks very high for a GTI, you taking it off roading??  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:

I had wondered if the suspension was high..
