my cabby just won't start, suddenly?!

hi all.. right 1990 mk1 cabby. been out all day in it today running fine as per. got home parked and then in just slowly lost revs and cut out and now can't start, weird. lots of fuel in it and battery good. can't see any fuel in filter tho. help………

Has a bit of crap from the tank blocked it up? Have you taken the fuel filter off and had a look????

Thanks for that but I don't think I no enough to know what you mean. Is that the little plastic fuel filter or the thing that looks like a baked bean can lol.

Its a little white plastic block on the fuel line under the bonnet. Should be on the left hand side when you look at the engine.

On Carburetor not fuel injected yes?

Iv got a carb on my engine. Mine is on the feul inlet line. Its a bit dark outside now but will try and take a picture tomorrow to show you. Is yours carb or i?
