My 1.6 mk1 series 1 Janspeed turbo

Dear all. Has anyone got any info on my mk 1.
I have spoken with the previous (original) owner who has told me that my car has got a turbo conversion which was done by janspeed back in1982-1983.I have tried for ages to find out some more info and to see if there are any other mk1s that have had this conversion but with no luck.If you have any info could you please let me know.

dont know if you are still inhere? but YES endeed, JANSPEED did make a Turbo kit for the VW Golf

I have a pricelist, where its listed, both for Diesel, and Petrol engine, also one for the GTI.
I own a car with a JanSpeed Turbo conversion, and have collected all I could find, for the last 3 years, on this subject.

The price for a std Petrol Golf were 838 GB£ plus VAT, and fitting cost, which is listed as 160 GB£ also plus VAT.
 
I know of a Capri owner in GB, and a Datsun 240 in France, puls one more 240Z, thats it :roll:  I have also seen a few Range Rovers for sale on Ebay.
