Refurbed teardrops

nice motor mate hopefully you will have better luck this time!!. ive  just bought myself a 1.457cc gl cabby to. how many miles has it done and on what year is it.??

Nice. Wheels have come up well. Do you know what models the teardrops were fitted to originally?? I've got a set of on my '82 GLi Cabby minus the centre caps  :dontknow:

the car is not uk registered as yet, but I know it has a 1985 production date.
The wheels I've had for about 5 years in this condition, got them off a guy for ?30, got them refurbed for ?80 from lap-tab in Birmingham.
Work to be done- well it needs a roof, this one is like a sieve!! The bonnet has gone dull, rear screen frame totally gone, other than that, its solid in all areas.
I've added an analogue clock and voltmeter, also a dial kit coz being a LHD from Spain, it was KPH on the clocks.

Oh yeh, the mileage, its got 98,000kilometres on, what this converts to in mileage is approx 61,000 miles. Not bad me thinks!
