MOT question

May sound silly but my bump stops have perished / slit into two halves on the front suspension of my 83 GTi..would this be an MOT failure, my car is booked in for saturday evening so i have time to change them if so?

If they are still functional then there should be nothing wrong.

I'm not sure that bump stops are part of an MOT test, but they will check for suspension faults and corrosion, so it may show up as advisory.

Im going to send off to AVS and replace them anyway..but im not sure if the parts will get here before the weekend..

Not part of test if i mind right. Seen them missing from a landie and couldnt find failure option a while back
