More power needed, Essex area

Hi, hope you all had a good xmas

I have a MK1 Golf GTI 1989, it is in great condition and I have spent a fair amount getting up to this level, it has a very good strong engine and I have been avoiding the quest for more power but I give in and want a change

The current engine had a new oil and water pump as well as a new cam chain so it might be worth a few quid

I am looking for the best conversion options, would like a supercharged or turbo engine. and would want the work done by someone who really knows what they are doing, any recommendations
