That eBay one's a stand up jobby. Years ago I played a sit down one with a handbrake (by far the coolest bit of a driving game ever)

Spent ages down the arcade when we went to the seaside (a good few years ago) on that one, fantastic game.

Yradave says relax.

How much hard work are those arcade racing games that stand up like that!!

You gotta like, balance on your heels or somethin, and then like, hold the wheel and lean back! because changing from accelerate to break is just so tricky!!

You end up doin some sort of morris dance.

Hence the invention of the sit down one

Notice aswell that the pedals (judging that this mk1 is an auto apparantly ) aren't actually straight below the steering wheel, so your spine would be shot after a few games at that 8O

A few games?? Back in the day there was only enough pocket money for one game of the mighty GTI Club a week and hence future back problems were not of any great concern.

yeah i was always a big fan of supersprint cos all the kids were queing up for outrun, afterburner etc which cost about a quid (which was a lot back in the day) and nobody wanted a go on supersprint cos the graphics were very basic but it was only about 20p a go and it was a great game !

Supersprint - now theres a blast from the past I had that on the Atari 520. One of my favourite games so simple but so much fun and the multiplayer was wicked fun to.
