mk1 parts in london

hello,

as some of you might know am redoing a 1979 golf mk1. have been on it for a few months now. but the shortage of parts is killing the project really. am finallying getting the chance to go to london in january. i will be staying at hounslow. i need your advice if u can say where i can get parts for the car, the full address (as i dont know london at all it is my first visit) i would have to ask people on the road for directions. so please if u can provide full address and if possible phone number and responsbile person from whom i can get these parts.

i am looking for
gearbox lever assembly 5 speed
rear calipers
rear drum to disk conversion kit without disk (all other parts)
front calippers for ventilated disks

some body parts to make the old lady stand out. some interior accessories.

please advise. you are my only hope.

GSF's main distribution centre is nr Heathrow but they deliver (link on left) or EuroCarParts (they deliver) or Big Boys Toys (link on left) or Rich (aka CrazyQuiff also link on left) finally there's ebay   :roll:
Check them all out and I'm sure you'll probably get a majority of what you need. All depends on what you're willing to spend I suppose.

I lived in Brentford/Isleworth since i was 2 up untill a year ago.

Dont waste your time with GSF on Faggs road. They are all spotty narks who dont know f all.

There is a place in Park Royal (just past ealing/Acton) on the north curc. I cant remember the name but they specialise in Vag hot hatches. Well worth doing a search cos they setup my old mk2 8v and it ran like a dream. Thet can also source anything you need and will undercut GSF buy a few quid.

sir, can u please give me some exact address detials of where this shop u have mentioend is. the way you are explaining the place seems to be i need to go to. please help me a little bit more, give me like a adress or a street name or a famous land mark which people will know of and will be able to help me when am asking them about the place..

I think its one of these as they are in the right area but i cant be sure cos i only really know the place if im looking at it.

Basicly its on the north side of the A40 kind of opposite the Warner Bros cinema and around the corner.

I was never the one who drove when i went there as i was without the car, so its hard to give directions
