2 different sizes I think.
depending on year…It's the width between the lights as some like the letterbox or pillarbox lights ones are longer.

Love them, just the repositioning of the number plate that I don't always like.
Funk- star has one fitted to his white one and it looks ace.
Keep your eyes on eBay as they do turn up.

Thanks for all your views, had seen one for sale locally but not sure if its the correct size . Saw Funk-star's one and looked ACE!
Would have to relocate the number plate but not sure how tricky this is. Don't you have to have your rear numberplate lit?
I suppose the heckenblade light up with the original no plate lights or might it be purely reflective.
Hmmmm!

Cheers Mark. I really like the one on your green mk1. I think it might be like that one from memory with "Golf" on it.
With time these "period features" really come into their own and speak heaps about the styles of the times. Must admit, I didn't like them in the 80's when the car was new, but now appreciate them. Like for many things, think i don't newer cars allow for expression of such depth in style or chatracter like these old skool accessories

What do you mean by pished?
Got the part now as I like it but in two minds on whether to fit it, or just put it on the wall.
Its the one with "golf" written on it in the original font which i liked
The issue is number plate relocation/lights so will have a longer think!
Also needs new hole in the rear panel
