depending on year…It's the width between the lights as some like the letterbox or pillarbox lights ones are longer.

I think they sell for £100-£150 too. Ultra rare.
I have had quite a few, prices I have paid have been €19 (plus post) up to £65 (postage included from Cyprus) I love them! Tho not everyone's cup of tea.
Think my fave one was on my series 1, people were either Ohhhh I like that or hmmmm not sure lol
I know why nicks asking, he knows where one is in a shop window lol, he's also seen my one :-)

Would have to relocate the number plate but not sure how tricky this is. Don't you have to have your rear numberplate lit?
I suppose the heckenblade light up with the original no plate lights or might it be purely reflective.
Hmmmm!

With time these "period features" really come into their own and speak heaps about the styles of the times. Must admit, I didn't like them in the 80's when the car was new, but now appreciate them. Like for many things, think i don't newer cars allow for expression of such depth in style or chatracter like these old skool accessories

Got the part now as I like it but in two minds on whether to fit it, or just put it on the wall.
Its the one with "golf" written on it in the original font which i liked
The issue is number plate relocation/lights so will have a longer think!
Also needs new hole in the rear panel
