Mk1 Golf 4x4 Cabriolet...Yup, someone made one.

Anyone seen one of these before?  The Golf Country Cabriolet 4x4 by Biagini…..Yep a real production car and not a one off….maybe it should have been a one off!

Definately different, doen't look very golfy front the front.  Is it based on the Mk2 golf syncro running gear?

I've recently bought a Biagini Passo !!!

Paculiar and ugly car … but I love it !!!!

It has everything in 1 only "pack" … cabrio, 4x4, pick-up, GTI MKII engine …

Hi !! no… I'm Spaniard, but have to recon' in the UK there's much more knowledge and experience about cabrios .. they burn our heads !!

I bought my "Passo" to a German company in Barcelona's offices, they used it as a company car for expats.

It has now 100.000 km (around 60.000 mi.) and am very happy with her … last month we went to Porto (650 km) with some other cabrios to the classic car races.

Ha, ha… in this pic, taken on travel to Porto with some friends and their Spiders … you'd think it's a hummer cabrio

Those "panda" headlights makes it feel very different.

Wonder if that interior would fit in a mk1 cabrio?

I'd rather have that than one of those Fiat Panda 4x4s.
