If its a GTI, you've lost all the external idenfitying clues - lower ride height, side stripes, red grille surround, badges. If its not a GTI, fair game….but if it is…….you wanna stick them all back on!

in 1st pic the dirt is shaped as a golf driver badge on the tailgate, what a transformation good work, and whatever model it is style it the way you want it to be 8)

cheers guys, yeah it is a 1300 driver, but most things have been changed to gti. i.e centre console, gear knob, steering wheel, interior (seats), front spoiler, grill, pretty much everything accept the red bit for the grill which i am hopefully getting for christmas! the body kit and stripes were taken off, as i think it looks better without.  :D

yea no rear hatch decal and wide plastic side trims think its a Driver but well done, another saved for a few more years on the road.

I drove a Passat gt on Pendine sands at 10years old that was fun!!!

That looks awesome mate. My dad built my first car for me when i was 14 which was a 1968 beetle, but i wrote it off  :(
Its great growing up with a car like that, and ul appeciate it loads more. Looks awesome dude  :D

This has inspired me to get under my bonnet… but youve acomplished a lot more than i have with still 2 years till drive time  :| *gets out and sands rad cowling*

yeah, my dad has a vw camper as well, which he also restored 8) . And if anyone knows where to get hold of one of those black decals :dontknow: , that would be great! :D
