mk1 16v strut brace?

is there any upper front strut braces out there that fit a mk1 with a 16v engine? any help would be appreciated as i want to buy 1

yup i have one on mine with a 16v in it- i cant tell you who its by though as i got it second hand and theres no badges on it, but atleast you know there is one out there!

I would of thought any mk1 upper strut brace would fit unless youve mounted the engine wrong anyway?!!

No, i have the same problem. My old strut brace wont fit over the top of the 16v inlet manifold. I know you can get ones to fit though

I think I got mine on ebay! No name on it tho! Its any alloy one!

you will find loads of different ones on ebay m8 should be 1 to fit it

I hit 8v one with a hammer and it clears the throttle perfect

Anyone know which one would fit a 1.1 C? or if there is one that will fit for that matter
