Mk 1 1.8 T conversion

Having seen some of the awesome examples on here i was just wondering how much would it cost to have a 1.8 turbo engine installed into a Mk 1 cabriolet ? What else would need to be uprated etc ?

I have no mechanical skills so wouldnt even know where to start 8O

if you have no mechanicl skills i would imagine you thinking of taking it somewhere to get done ?? you talking 3 to 4 grand minimum i think to supply and fit theres a fair bit of fabrication etc, thats minimum remember !! you will also need to upgrade all your brake system as the standard ones struggle with the standard engine lol
