am i missing something, all that seems to be different is the ridiculous blur on the bottom half of the shot… or is this another 'woodersism'?

Top conversion, wasn't this featured in cars and car conversions magazine ages ago? I think they also used austin princess 4 pots as well?? I remember the 216 GTI discs as the common denominator.

What model Volvo do they come from, and what diameter are the Rover discs?
Also, do those calipers bolt to standard GTI carriers?
Thanks

I don't suppose anyone knows the total surface area of the twin cylinders in the Volvo calipers as a comparison of the stock VW one. This info would be needed to calculate the resulting diameter of master cylinder needed, and/or the change in pedal stroke due to the changes.

they calculated this in the mag (c&cc) when they did the conversion and it was considered fine. i can't find the article at the moment but if i do, i'll post it up.paul_c said
