leaky sunroof!!!!
my sunroof is cause in me to have a indoorswimming pool.. it has been sealed up
with sealant and i cant get the bugger open now to re seal.. would prefer to get it fixed properly but me bank balance wont allow anybody got any ideas?? he is covered up at the moment..

is it a glass or metal sunroof? And whats it sealed up with to stop you opening it up? The metal sunroofs are not meant to be water tight round the seals - they have a tray underneath with drain hoses that run down the front and rear pillars - do a search on sunroof drain holes - theres loadsa info on how to unblock em

its a metal sunroof.. bin sealed up with a clear sealent.. i take it cause it leaked.. wot could i use to get all that sealent off?

SHould be able to get a stanley knife or similar sharp implement, and seperate where the roof of the car and the original black seal meets - just slice straight down and cut round, theres nothing delicate underneath that you might cut through, just be careful you dont take a slice out your paint!

thanx mate will give it a go, can you get new seals for them? and r they easy 2 fit? also where do search on here for sunroof drain pipe thing :?

searches can be doen by pressing "search" up at the top mate
Yeah the seals are easy to do, and are the same as a mk2 seal which usually work out cheaper.

Thanx Eck your a star for that got to get the friggin thing open now.. it is stuck fast.. they must have put sealent along the rim and then shut it down…
