leaking boot

hi, my mk1 has recently developed a leak, water collects in the boot door, i can hear it sloshing around when going around corners, and it leaks all over me when i open it, has anyone experienced this before?

check light seals, wiring grommets (bootlid to car), rear hatch seal and sunrrof drains (if it's got one!)  :mrgreen:

Wiper motor hole ,washer jet hole or lock grommet. Or the holes the badges clip into

Is the rear washer squirting into the hatch?

Rubber boot fault where the wires go into the hatch.

if light seals try screen wash pipe/aquarium tube, btter than thin strips of foam
