Just fitted this

I've just fitted this motorola 2700 in the glove compartment. I had to drill a small hole in the side to fit the flexible cable. Not sure if the phone looks over the top, what do you think?

I've just Celebrated finishing the good work with biscuits and a cup of tea, well thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it

I fitted the control box under the consul, it just about fits and I can change the sim card by removing the gear stick plastic surround thingy. The ariel comes from a special tax disc holder.

Cheers,
…And you don't need to charge the battery! and the reception is a lot better than todays phones. The model I fitted is very rare digital 2700 model and is saught after by sea fisherman because of the reception and call quality. I decided to fit it because I'm always breaking down and leaving my phone at home.

Yes, you can use the phone like hands free, the wires are connected to the speakers and there is a microphone installed on the drivers visor. I have programmed the phone so the radio goes to mute on an incoming call, however you have to push the button on the phone to make or receive calls.

Believe it or not, I also have a special transportable motorola kit and case, so I can remove the main model (black box) from the car and insert it into the transportable and it becomes portable. I think James Bond had something like this. Its all great stuff!

Yes, I have the original vodaphone sim card, but I can also use my other PAYG 02 sim. You have to however use the full card that the sim original.
