Just back!

Just back from working for Eurocamp for 4.5 months in the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

The car performed well, doing a grand total of 4,849 miles.  It had a few problems; cracked water tank (scrapyard solved the problem!), stolen VW badge (got one from a random German whose door I knocked on!), smashed headlight at training in NL (bought a new one from VW, ?90), puncture (new tyre from VW - they don't make the Michelins anymore so now I'm three Michelins and a Continental).  I'm thrilled at the performance.

It's looking a little miserable now - needs a good wash I think!
