Is there a MK1 GLI cab 1.8 on a B plate as i am stumped??
I can only find a Tin top or a 1.8?

I didn't know there were such things as cabby 1.8glis - thought they were all GTis apart from mine here in France, which is a 1.8gli. Could it be one that was imported on a B plate?

i've seen an early skoda estelle (the first shape) on an m plate.
(it was while surfing the tinternet looking for a picture of it i found the car in my other post)
it was said that the car was used a a promotion car in a showroom and when it was finally put on the road the DVLA gave it an "M" reg,

The GLI soft top was stopped in 1984 according to their books. However like some have said some if not sold in 84 can linger on in the warehouse until say 1985. I bought a motorbike once where they stopped the model in 1998 and yet I bought it on next year?s plate. I think if the colour is not a popular one this can happen or off coarse a display model perhaps.

according to the mighty google there was GLI 1.8 produced in 1985 but they where tin tops but i believe what is stated previously with a back log is probably true
