hi all.

how come even tho you have a few mk1 gti's over the years, you always come back to them.

i sold one a while ago and now want another,

crazy this business.

they definitely are in your blood mate, totally agree! im still on my first one, want to save up for a GTI eventually but can bring myself to sell my baby, think ill have it til it blows up! lol

I'v had several over the years with other cars inbetween like subarus and fast nissans aswell as other vag's but still keep coming back to the mk1

I'm on my first. Wanted one for as long as I can remember. Only had her a few weeks. She goes in to the garage on Monday to be serviced, have a good check over and a tune up and I cannot believe how excited I am about it, feel like a little kid at Christmas!!

….and truth be known I have actually booked off the whole of next week so I can give her a proper drive and see what else I afford to have done!!

Never had one yet.. but always wanted one, a mate had one years ago and was summit special, ever since then I've always wanted one. Had a mk3 gti which was good fun but didnt compare the the mk1

The bad thing is there doesnt seem to be many at all up here in Scotland

That's no bad thing! It'll be worth the trip down to get one, and then when you blast back up to Scotland it'll be rarer!    8)

i had one ealry this year then it got stolen in may so didnt get much time with it. was only a 1.1 but loved it. nothing quite liked it
so i got another but it wont be ready until next may . cant wait!
