I'm well confused...

When did the mkI golf stop and the mkII golf start??and if you have a cab on an H pla te is that a mkI or mkII??

mk1 tin tops stoped in 83, the mk1 cab continued until 93 (no mk2 cab)
thats a rough indication anyway

I Had this problem the other day when buying a manual, and the kind ppl at haynes explained to me that my mk1 cab (D) is a mk1 shell and a early mk2 engine!!

basically i had to buy both books one for body work and one for engine… i only brought the engine book tho coz they bloody expencive!!

confusing tho isnt it..

If you can get a used haynes from the early '90s then it will cover the engine and body for the cab.

Alternativeley a Bently manual is much more in depth

you can find early and late used manuals on ebay
some as cheap as 2 or 3 quid
