I'm a muppet, I've lost my immobilier fob, can anyone help?
OK, so I went to London today (first mistake) and Ive managed to lose not only my key, but the immobiliser fob, of which there was just one.
I've got a spare key, but clearly without the fob, I can't start it. It's round my mate's house at the moment.
My Certificate of Installation tells me this a Sigma M800 immobiliser, I have all the details on original certificate, so my question is:
HOW THE HELL DO I GET A NEW ONE???
I don't mean "write off/email to this address…", I mean does anyone know how to get this sorted tomorrow. If I popped in to a shopp (like Marston Audio for those who know the Oxford area), can I get this sorted?
Would really appreciate any help on this asap, as have gone from 2 cars to 0 within a week, after the 306 DTurbo engine blew up on the M40 (yes, yes).
On the plus side, a sunny London had it's distractions…

Take the ignition coweling apart, they are usually wired in
there to bypass the ignition, remove anything that isnt
original, bingo…..
Other place to look is the low tension lead off the coil,
Have a look if there is an extra lead off the small leads
on the coil, sometimes alarms take a spur off them and
fit a bypass switch (the engine will turn over but not start).
Or if you are not too confident, call an auto electrician, who
should sort it within an hour, not too much money.
Either way as said before rip it out and you cant go wrong.
Best of luck

Thanks for help guys, need to get it ripped out. If anyone sees an original VW key in London with an Oxford Motorcycles key ring on it, it's mine!
