Depends, but my mate's just taken an Italian leather 3 spoke steering wheel off one (VAG OE). Needs a boss but ok for nowt!!!
VDO gauges if there are any. Wheels (adaptors??)
Anything will fit if you've got an axle grinder & oxy / acetylene bottles

I no longer have the Mk1!! I now whizz round in a Black 1990 3dr Mk2 GTi 8v but the roof doesn't fold back when the sun shines :o

U need to tell us what year and model it is! If its an 80sport 2.0 16v,then u have a right load of treats.I bought one with 99k on it for ?300 and used the motor for my mk1 and broke the rest and made about ?700! If its an 8v then its not worth a carrot! If its an earlier 80`s Audi 80 then u can sell the bits on the Audi forums, they sell for good money now as people are starting to restore them!If its an early 80Quattro then u can use the front calipers too!

Which spec is it? I own an Audi 80 2.0L 4cylinder and theres not much you'll find of use when matching up to a Mk1. If youre looking to sell bits the vwaudiforum could be as gooder place as any to look for buyers.

get the roof out, if its the early square one its got tilt and slide. measure the roof panel if its the same size it will go straight in a mk1

Thats the audi 90 you are thinking off. early ones up to about 1987. you can use the carriers to run your standard vw2 calipers and 16v discs. but for the price these fetch you may as well slide to the dark side and go vauxhall

carriers

U can also use the early eighties (square ones) Audi 80 Quattro calipers/carriers and also the original Coupe 2.2 5cyl carriers. If it helps anyone!

Does it have the oil pressure warning system? (little board in the dash/clock unit) might want one of those if it does.

Do you mean oe of these?

I very very much doubt anyone would be scrapping one! more likely to be the 1991+ model as theyre not old enough to be worth classic money but too old to to hold their value!

*EDIT*

While ere on the subject…. i took my 92 2.0 4Cyl 80 for its MOT today. It failed on a perished bush on the exhaust mid section! not bad for a 16 year old car that cost ?475!

quattro

YES i do mean the one in the pic,u might say nobody would scrap any of those!!But where i live there is an oldboy car hoarder who lives out in the sticks with a huge field next to his house.People just ring him up+give him their old cars.Over the past 25yrs he`d collected over 140 cars!! The whole field was chocka with old stuff, the further u went into the field the older the cars got. There was some right old stuff in there! He had 4 Audi 80 Quattros the same as this in there and another that was a diesel. He had one in there with 23,000mls on the clock,he told me that the Audi dealer rang him up in 1991 when they got it in as a p/x for a new Audi but it was too old to put on their forecourt,so they gave it to him for free.He drove it to the field and parked it up.When i found it i had to spend 2hrs with a strimmer and hedge cutters to get to the door open!He said the car was immaculate when he parked it up+u could tell it was too when i got it open. What a shame it was.But anyway i got all the calipers off them for the carriers before the government got on his back and told him the place was an eyesore and he had to scrap the lot, they said he could keep 10 cars.I had some pics of the place somewhere,i will try to dig them out.He had over 40 BMW e30`s in there alone coz he was a bit of a BMW fan. They all got scrapped!
