How many track cars have we got?

Just wondered how many track/race cars we have between the club members?  
we have the Audi for cheap lunacy  

and then this little thing I have lying around

Depends what you call track/race, mine is but then its also road-legal. Bens_cab, Dub76, Ant5 and a number of others also have MK1s which have seen track action. I'd be interested to know how many have actually been used in a proper track situation, rather than merely modified to look as such, and therefore a bit of a wannabee!!!

I've tried twice, and no responses came forward! Maybe 3rd time lucky?

Well I would be interested,however the car goes into storage at the end of the month until April,so i guess that gives us time to organise something Castle Combe Apr 08 anyone?

Lucky your choice in cars is better than your puns!   You've got a mental collection there - are any of the others kitted out for track use? Loving the Gulf colours too. Congrats on the magazine feature.

Mine is still running - used for trackdays, mostly at Snetterton because its local.

What about trying to organise a club presence for Castle Combe at next year's autometrix vw/audi track day?  Long way off I know, but it usually attracts has some top cars and drivers.

When is that?I seem to remember an event that always clashes with my pilgrimage to Le Mans in June,if it is not in June I would defo be up for it,I love that track(Well worth the 4 hour round trip!!!)

The Castle Combe Autometrix VW/A day is normally around the start of August I think.  

We could also think about joining one of the CGTI track dates next year, assuming they do a track day tour again.

I'm sure CGTI are having a track day on 25th November at Donington, think I'll be in attendance for that one.
But then I'm not sure if Donny is near enough for some of people on here.

aye CGTI are having on on the 25th, im very tempted as ive done a few track days before and my golf will be used on the track every so often. also Donny is my local track.

At Donny if you can get 10 or more bookings you can get a 10% discount, I did this before for the mii club i was a memeber of, I could do it again next year if there was enough interest.
