How many GX limited edition models were ever made?

I own a GX but i've never been able to find how many were ever made, does any one know?
I think they were only ever made in 1983…..

Glad that my Dad kept his GX - completely standard as well!

Yeah Major you are right they were only ever made in 1983 - one of the last mk1 tintop models before the mk2 came out.

That link shows how many are still registered, not how many were made in the first place.

Indeed, 1,900 licenced in 1994 so probably around 3,000 sold in UK. Like Campaigns, not rare but a few extras chucked on GLs before the Mk2.
