ok i was just wondering if any body knows how many g40 mk1s there are?

within the next couple of weeks i will be starting an eaton charged g40 conversion into a mk1 van

i was just curious i no there isnt that many i would estimate around 15 ?

im my head i had closer to 10 out there

i know there is one running tvr setup, the two porsche ones (928 and 911 engine) and scobby running gear mk1. Thats the only other special mk1 out there i know off.

rest are 8v, 16, 20v and vr6 with a few engines in the rear.

tvr is dead a buired the shell was up for sale  on ebay last year.

ah thats a pity

also forgot the one witht he VTEC engine in it as well.

There was one a while ago with a Vauxhall red top engine in it wasn't there?  Or was that a Mk2?
