Help - What Engine do I have???

Hi,

Just bought a beautiful 1991 Cabriolet but need to know the engine spec.  I know it's the 1.8l but is it fuel injected - trying to get a chip conversion for a few more BHP.

Any advice greatly received!

need a bit more info to be able to help. wot model is it? do you have an engine code? is it single point injection or multi point?
if it is k-jet i do believe you cant chip them.

I think cabs stayed with K-Jet so you can't chip them.

Have you tried looking under the bonnet and seeing if you can find a carburettor?
