Help refurbing my le castellets

Hi

I have invested in some le castellets for my cabby but they are in need of some work. Was thinking of doing thw work myself and was hopin for some advise on how and recommendations for products to use

what sort of look you after

polished or painted??

I am looking for high polished look ?

polishing is difficult

pait striper and sand of all the paint with no harsher the 180 grit paper

then to polish

start at 180- 240- 400 - 600 -1000 wet and dry-1500 we and dry and untill you get to about 2000grit

then us a polishing mop on a drill with some compount like autosol

the more time you take the better the will be

then maybe a laquer over the top to save polishing them every 10 minutes

Polishing isn't that difficult just requires a lot of elbow grease ad time. And if it's your first time I mean a LOT of time.
