has anyone seen one these front splitters?

Here is a picture of the golf i have newly purchased back in 2001 when it was up to show car standards.

I still have the same clipper body kit however i dont have the splitter that is on the bottom of it in this picture, there is still one around the back like in the picture below. I didnt know if anyone knew if these were easy to get hold or are like rocking horse doo doos?

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction!

thanks!

the one on the front looks like a vr6 style one, the rear one is most likely the origonal clipper front one chopped up for the rear bumper.

oh right thanks sweet, do you have any idea of how expensive they are? it definately needs something there as it looks pretty sparce at the moment as the number plate is the lowest part of the body i think!

eurocarparts sell pattern ones. Not the best quality but you'll be ripping it off on all the speed bumps anyway.

ive got no idea how much they cost now fella, its been a good 10 yrs since i last ran a mk1 with a clipper kit on it, did have one of those vr splitters fitted and was about £70 back then.

oh right quite an expensive mod with a genuine part!

iv seen a few of them for sale around the £25 mark, its just to make it look a bit lower at the front. And as others have said there are speedbumps near me, i have to go over three to get into work, one of which i can just squeeze around in most cars!
I will keep my eye out for one and see how it goes! i dont want to spend loads just to loose it.

Thanks guys!

Ive cracked two of these on mine, they are around £25 from all the previus mentioned suppliers you will have to trim them down at the joint and use a hair drier to warm it up to help match the form on your bumper at the cuves.

mate, a standard clipper splitter upside down and attached to the same splitter, with clips or screws, looks really good and very OEM

kinda like this

as your front end is full of horizontal lines, this will add to that and look well clean!
