has anyone had a satin white car?

has anyone had a satin white car?

I'm doing my MK1 white, and I really wanted it satin white, I just really like the colour, but my friend at the paint shop said its REALLY hard to keep clean.

now I don't mind cleaning the car everyweek, but is it harder to keep clean than that??

any help would be good, or pics.

satin white is an unsusal choice, id worry it would look like faded white original paint as a pose to looking like satin, black is different because you have a greater range of tones between highlights and shadow, where as with white, everything looks the same tone, just my two cents, hope that made sense! lol

mine is not in satin white but in surbaru white the whitest u can get i belive but dont quote me on that and iam sure it would look nice  in satin

I know what you mean mate, and i know about the satin black but i don't want to do that again.

I just liked the idea of satin white, i mean, look mate…..

If I am going to do it in gloss white then I was going to choose the new VW White, that MK6 golfs come in and A3's and that.

I saw what looked like a satin white mini today , not keen ,  just looked like the primer was showing through , very mucky ,  something not right about it
