ive got 10mm spacers on the front mate, so the wheels clear the calipers, feels no different at all really, it might make it handle fractionally better as it has a wider footprint.

hope that helps!

I had 20mm on the rear...and about 5mm on the front to clear coilies... However i dont think there all that safe... As it puts your geomitry out a fair bit. If you put big ones on with skinny wheels they look awful from the rear...becuase there is no wheel in the arch if you get me. The other thing is that you put more strain on the wheel bearings. As far as handling goes...doesnt effect it all that much to be honest... It doesnt make much difference.

Get some stub axle spacers for the rear, this means there is no extra stress on the bearings.

A guy on cgti does 10mm and 20mm versions in the entrepreneurs section.

I have the 20mm version with g60 steels on mine, with 13mm hubcentrics up front. I did have to grind a bit of the hub off so the 'centrics fitted though, not much, just a couple of mm.

Valver can you put a pic of your car up head on. I have g60 steelies and they rub the arch with no spacers.
Why did you fit fronts?

Fitted fronts to even out the stance, otherwise the backs would stick out further than the fronts, and 13mm is the most i could get away with with these wheels before i got them outside the arches.

I do get a bit of rub on heavy hits and very hard sharp corners, but with the arches being ground back, coilovers(225lbs rears 250 fronts IIRC)  and eibach arb's it isn't something that happens enough to bother me.

No idea what spring rates they come with i am afraid.

Tbh most people suggest getting a fixed drop suspension set like weitec rather than these cheap coilies which corrode, give poor ride quality and sometimes break.

Or save up and get better coilovers. I have GAZ on mine(£500), and you can specify what spring rates you want when purchasing these.
