There are some cracking old ads on YouTube - did anyone make them better than VW? When I went to the museum in Wolfsburg, I spent 4 hours standing in front of a tiny TV watching hundreds of ads. They should release a DVD!

 Did they have any DVD`s that included glass coffee tables and Blondes?

I know this is not  a Golf, but it is a GTI and very funny.

Sad mate, but if yo go back and watch again (i just did) pause it on the shot where he'sin the car, the MK2 and you'll see the quarter lights,

When he stops to let the pregnant lady cross he is in the MK2. The interior shot has no quarter lights...

I think the inside shot could be argued it's the MK3?

I'll change my spot to the fact that it doesn't have amber front indicators then!

 my role is mainly…………..to cause mayhem and chaos…….not always in that order :wink:  and usually involves me smashing somemones doors in!……. ooh er vicar

although i was around during filming (camera shy) and im not on that particular "team" i do work with the guys from the "street wars" swanny and the gang on the series shown on Sky last year

Does anybody have a link to those old ads from the 70's / 80's with the chinese guy and the vw's dropping from the ceiling?
