How am I going to get round to this, do the 2 little dimples have anything to do with my problem?

1. Fit the bumper without the side clips
2. Drill the hole and fit the side clips.

Someone's covered them up. You have 2 choices:
1. Fit the bumper without the side clips
2. Drill the hole and fit the side clips.
Paul - I have looked at another wing and the 2 dimples look to be in exacly the right place as where the clip would go, and they are on both wings?

Sounds right.
Personally, I'd advise to try them on without the clips. The bumper side section isn't that big and it would save drilling through good paintwork, etc. If they don't rub on the wing, and don't flap around, it would be okay.

I was hopeing that by having the clips on they would fit alot better as when I tried them they seemed very tight? if that makes sence!?

The 2 dimples are the drill marks, I had the clips velcro'd on the car but it wasn't strong enough, I didn't want to drill through the wings though. Went with chrome bumpers in the end!
I dont mind drilling the wings if I need to as when the car comes back off the road for the big resto the wings will be replaced, but the current ones look new anyway
Anyway, would it be a case of find the right drill bit size, drill the 2 holes and then file it all and paint the exposed metal?
Chrome bumpers….worth a thought though

When I replaced my front wings they came the same as yours with 2 dimples, I just drilled them and fitted the bumper supports.
You will definitely need them if you use the S2 bumpers as without they move and rub the bodywork.
I am now in this position, both front and rear bumpers need the clips fitting in to the body, but there are now no holes after returning from the bodyshop.
hey lhasa dreams if you could give us a little talk through what drill bit you used and stuff this would be real helpful.
