G Techniq Permanant Trim Restorer

A friend who's into detailing recommended this for my exterior trim:

http://gtechniq.com/sh…-permanent-trim-restorer/

It apparently forms a new surface by resetting the plastic or something like that and gives a uv filter too. no silicon residue or anything.

At £34 for a 25ml bottle I was a bit reluctant, but the results are amazing. I'll post some 50/50 before and afters if anyone's interested?

one bottle did the whole car - just.

Cheers Norm, that's good to know. I'll keep an eye on it. I've got hte car covered so I'm hoping that it won't fade too quickly!

Here's a pic of a 50/50 of the restoration:

The prep we did was a good wash then a decontaminant spray, though I don't know which one, I can find out if you like. It was basically something to remove all the silicon and other gunk from the bumpers which they had been treated with before.

Cheers

Hey massbad,

if that stuff works just as well then it's a bargain!

The bumpers were prepped with meguiars superdegreaser & all purpose cleaner, the an ipa isopropyl wipedown.
