full length factory sun roof

ive a bit new to the golf scene and have bought my first water cooled project a 82 gti which has got a full length sun roof ,are these rare?at first glance i thought it was after market but its defo a factory fit roof?????

The only factory fit roof was the metal slide roof.  Anything else is probably a dealer or after market fit.

Hi, the webasto was never a factory fit for the mk1, only dealer/aftermarket. See a few around from time to time, got any pics?
