Front panel holes

Hi, what is the best way to close the front panel rectangular holes so i can make my golf without bumper…and how can i make the indicators when its without bumpers?

There is no "best" way, as opinions will vary, but one option is to fit the indicators in the holes. The bumper mounting bolt holes are ideal for bolting them to.

I'll dig out a pic to give you an idea.

If you weld up the centre holes the you'll restrict air flow to the radiator and possibly over heat.
Indicators can be screwed onto the front but they might not look pretty!!!

I was thinking of closing the big 2 holes with something like the wire in the picture, of course something more professional loooking than a chicken wire…  and air can pass too and avoid over heating. What do you guys think?

Make it custom mate. Build it as you want to see it, but dont restrict the air flow!

Because he said to me, If you close the holes you wont pass the MOT since you can't fit the bumper back for the MOT test.I told him that the bumper can still be fitted if the 2 big holes are closed since the bumper is bolted with the too other square holes not the rectangular big holes

If my memory serves me right, if you had the plastic grills that fit in the 2 centre holes, one of them is a blank, so effectively only one of the holes had a use in cooling.

where can i find these plastic grill.I tried on ebay but nothing... :/

Just searched on Ebay, unfortunately there are none for sale at the moment. Click the link below for a look at a pair of grills that sold recently and you can see that the one is a blank and the other has open grill.  :wink:
