First mk1 :)
Further shows what great cars they are!
I'll let the pics do the talking! more to come
All Bright and shiny!
Bit wet and mucky from a wee road trip… London - Aberdeen
As you can tell my girl friend refused to get out the car whilst i was taking the pics because it was about.. 4 degrees and spitting haha
Strangely enough i dont like it so low, so going to raise it up a bit as its currently lowered 40mm and search for some OZ turbos!
And finally all tucked away… half anyway with my temporary car cover! Haven't got round to clearing my garage out yet as its full of anything and everything at the minute! Purchased a full weather proof, non abrasive, breathable cover so that should do the trick for a while anyway!
Hope you enjoy the pics, tell me what you think!
Thanks

Car looks great especially the seats !!
I got mine in London so done the London- Edinburgh trip but it was easier for me as I am a mere 6 ft 3" !!
Hopefully see it at a meet or 2 next year when the weather is better, prob around July ;-)

Moved to mk1 chat as this is mk1 related. Nice motor by the way!!!
Ah sorry mate! Will know next time thanks though!
Saw this advertised, looks a lovely motor, nice one
Thanks mate! yeah was on Gumtree! bit of a cheat buying one with most or all the work done in comparison to other peoples long hard work to make theres
pristine!
I think the next step is to buy a shell or a cheap, cheap runner and make it my project, have to start some where since im a bit of a noob at the minute!
cracking motor mate, like it loads, not sure about the single wiper but hey each to there own
chris
Cheers Chris! Yeah im not 100% about the wiper either tbh, i might get it sorted. When i drove up it was raining for the 5 hours i was driving and even in the
dark the 1 wiper worked well but looks wise.. not sure You replied to my post about my height ages ago if i remember right! Had to take a bus to get to
Woking which was the last step of the journey down after a plane and 3 trains and the entire time i was thinking " F*** me if i don't fit in this car the drive
up is going to cripple me! but thankfully i have heaps of room! always happily surprised when it comes to VW's and my mk1 didnt let me down
Massbad, will definitely be attending as many Scottish meets i can! looking forward to them! btw when i asked why people always noted " for the
winter" in their adverts for selling mk1's i can see why now! this weather is not ideal for 30 year old cars! im not used to not having power steering either
the ice isnt helping!
Cheers for the comments guys, appreciate it!
