filling holes

i am going to remove my foam spoiler things and attempt to remove the body kit.
i was wondering what the best method of filling the holes would be?

i wont have a problem gettin a welding friend to patch them up.
but i was worried that welding the screw holes on the roof will burn the lining on the inside of the car?

and if i use body filler there is a chance it will fall out in a few years?
what do you reckon?

A pic of the said spoiler would help as i'm not sure what spoiler would be roof mounted? Halfords one perhaps?

To delete the holes then you will need to get them welded, you could bodge it with fiber glass, depends how long you want things to last

it looks like a zender one

looking at the pic its on the tailgate but there are still them bits on the side of the car.
its like a black foam. i have one above the rear window and one below.
might be somethin that comes on gti
and the body kit is bbs.

Yep a zender, if your lucky it won't have the screws and it will just be glued.

Word of advice, don't remove the bbs kit!

why shouldnt i remove the kit?
rust and rot?

I had a bbs kitted mk1, looked mint up to me taking the kit off, the car ended up being scrapped!

the zender one may be clipped on at either side or the tailgate.
