Evie has left me :(

Here's some pics just before my car left me this morning to go and have new engine, box, paint & interior…dont think il recognise her when she gets back!

:cry:  Don't be too sad. From what you told me yesterday at Gaydon after the amount of work she's having done she's going to be a serious head turner!

Like we said she'll always be blue at heart just like my tin top.

Lol she didnt look quite as bad as the above pics before - gaz has been doing body work all last week, before that she had designer holes - which were pretty useful when i locked my keys inside

What colour is she being done?

Gaz must have been busy yesterday evie not looking not bad. But when she comes back I 'm sure she will be your pride and joy.

im having her sprayed the same colour, well Im spraying her which may well be a huge mistake but you never know unless you try! Will be keeping her blue for a couple of yrs until I save up for a complete colour change, inside & out

Yeah, I miss her though! And after seeing the gorgeous gl auto at Gaydon, I had a thought that I should have stuck with original but Im sure I'll love it when she's done. They got the engine & box out yesterday and are sorting something to do with an engine mount! Steam cleaning engine bay too.

Aww, I'm doing the same with mine, missing it like mad while it's in the bodyshop, but it's well worth it when you get it back! Not getting quite as much work done as yours though!
