Ever fitted a jetex exhaust?
hi all i am looking to replace the back box on my 1988 plate cabby which is a gti clipper model, having been quoted some blooming exspensive quotes for stainless items,i was wondering if anyone has ever used the Jetex system???i am bored and disgusted of the piece of rust hanging out the bottom end of my beloved, is it any good, does it fit ok or what have you fitted to your cabby and how much did it cost you? any help and info will be greatly received. gazza.

Got one on my tin top Gti. I like it, sounds nice and not very obtrusive in normal driving. Put your foot down and it gets a little bit shouty but you'd expect that. Doesn't boom on motorways like my old Janspeed did either.
Thumbs up from me !
Oh, and fits fine…

They do 2 bore sizes but I've read that the large one is too large for most applications. Good quality system though that should last you years and they have a great subtle tone.

When I was looking for a Stainless Exhaust for my '93 cabby I tried to get a stainless for it from Jetex but they only do stainless systems for the pre-83 cabbys, the later ones are aluminised mild steel. I waited until a custom s/s sytem came up for sale on here secondhand, very pleased with it as well.
