I agree it's mad how much this went for but I do think it is genuine nos, the rubber / plastic is fresh and untouched not glossy and cracked like it would be after 25/30 years of use.
We'll have to wait and see what kind of feedback he gets and if he hangs around on ebay for long.

I didn't mean he was a nob because he's made money, I mean that photo would appear to be one he's taken of a good knob and is pretending to have a load of n.o.s knobs. If it's n.o.s wheres the vw bag?
Therefore HE is a nob for scamming people.
If it was in a bag I'd believe it a bit more.

These gear knobs might be available from classic parts like alot of other things that people say are rare and obsolete yet are still available.
Does anyone know the part number for this gear knob so that I can check??
