drivers seat repair
hi guys
can any one help me or point me in the rite direction the fabric on my drivers seat has torn like they all do but ive got a good passanger seat for spares can anyone help me turn the passanger seat into my drivers seat because i dont want to strip both seats and mess it up lol

the bolster on the drivers seat is torn and i have a spare passenger seat but unsure how to strip both and make a good drivers seat

Your going to need to remove both covers really if you want to do a good job as they are stiched from the under side and then put the donnor material in.. There is a thread somewhere on here about removing and refitting the covers.

thank u do u no if it will be easy to change the cabbles over cos the frame on the baqck of my drivers seat is bent and broke

If you have a donor seat, just swap the uprights over.
So long as they are right sided.
There are 2 cables on these from memory.
One from the tilt handle to the lock tab and one that goes from either side across the tabs at the base.
It would be a case of undoing the bottom of the seat fabric and working it upwards exposing the foam till you can put your hand up and locate the attatchments.
They are just like a dog leg shape and slot into the hole.
Then just slide the cover back down and refix at the bottom.
