Does anyone fancy a respray???

Where do i start….

After painting Vespas and Lambrettas for the past couple of years and more recently some extra car work too i have been toying with the idea of getting a lock up or small unit as my shed is fit to burst and my mk1 project needs a new home as its still at work under an inch of dust.  I get a lot of time off work with my shift pattern and fortunately have a very understanding family and a hobby i really enjoy.

SOOOO  basically i am just testing the water really to see if anyone would be interested in any of this type of work being done without having your pants pulled down over the price and by someone who will be as passionate about your pride and joy as you are "God that sounds soft"

I am in sunny North Wales and welcome any interest, advice or criticism anyone has

Theres always demand for good bodyshops; particularly ones that don't charge the earth.

However having ran my own business now for 2 years I can tell you that to make it work and to cover the running costs you have to really put the effort in.

Whatever you predict your outgoings will be you can double it in the real world. Which then means you've got to double your incomings which isn't as easy.

If you do decide to do it good luck. I can tell you that theres nothing more satisfying than working for yourself.

Thanks for the advice.. The cost side of it is one of the main factors really which is why i just wanna stay small.  I have no aspirations for big things with this as its a hobby as i say. Being your own boss does have a nice ring but unfortunately their is only one boss in our house if you know what i mean!!!!

to re-iterate the earlier sentiment, double your predicted costs, that should just about cover it.

good luck with the business mate.
