does 1.5 gx use release bearing

hi, im in the process of changing my clutch (1.5 gx engine: jb i think)

does this engine/gearbox use a release bearing between friction disc and gearbox spline?

haynes shows a release bearing in this position, but its a different model

inside my gearbox there isnt a guide/ sleve for the bearing

but a release bearing came with my clutch kit

any help much appreciated

what a ballache it is to get the gearbox back in position!!!!

Release bearing is at the opposite side of the box behind the green VW cover, below the release lever
