You can get a digital clock set for a MK2 called a Digifiz. Its a straight fitment for the later cars (90 spec).

No doubt it could be tweaked to go in a Mk1 though..

I have a digifiz sat in my unit with a full loom for a g60! Only thing missing is the speedo arrangement.

They only came in KPH, Astra's had a digital dash as well which you can switch between MPH & KPH. I'm sure that i've seen these chopped up and fitted in to a Mk1 cluster shell. Should be easy to splice the wiring to work in a MK1 set up.

Really? Could have sworn I saw 2 digifiz dashes on ebay recently in mph. They went for silly money though, about 90 quid each iirc.

YEAH theres one o there now for 300 but obviously not gonna go for that but if ive got some spare money i might buy the other one on the bay for 100 all depends on payday lol so are you saying ill need a new loom or can i modify my existing one to fit the digifiz??

the ones that are at 100 will probably go for more as they are the 8000rpm ones, the others at 300 are the 7000rpm ones which arent as sought after!!

If i were you i'd check ebay france, germany, belgium etc as some pop up on there often for much cheapness, last set i saw didnt go and had no reserve for 50 euro!!

Yea ?100 is super cheap.

My 8k one cost ?250 around 6 years ago. so ?300 would seem about right.
