Club Umbrellas

I know, I know…. that old cherry!!!

I got soaked on Sunday and got thinking about a decent brollie.

But, would there really be any interest from forum users for a club umbrella?

I posted up in the  committee section and we have been discussing this and the subject has been brought up a few times since 2006 but never seen through to conclusion. If there is enough interest then I'll press on and see what I can get sorted. I don't know prices, styles, production time etc yet - this is simply an initial feeler as to the potential popularity of them.

There are a few companies that I've looked at, see below…..

Here is the first link. There are various styles to choose from, wooden handles/ rubber handles/ sizes etc

Here is a second link. Again various styles etc.

Here is the third link. Note that there are no minimum order that we have to place.

I'd defo have one, the second link has some cool variations to choose from.

I would permanently keep it in my Rivage just in case!

Hehe, a golf umbrella for a Golf. YES, I would buy one of these, presuming it wasn't toooo expensive to buy and get shipped to France.

…unless you go for the quadbrella on the second link which is just weird.

Ok, there seems to be a few people who are interested.

What would be a 'fair' price for a decent umbrella that is of reasonable quality? Has anyone bought one recently because I haven't.  :dontknow: My last one was £4.99 from a garage and its lasted a few years but is tatty now!
