clock display and transfer question

while i was on hol my batt went flat & so i jumped it to get it going and all is good now except…. my bloody clock/MFA display has gone loopy it just shows all the little arrows and what looks like 04:04 on it but half the lines are missing :banghead:

any idea's or ever heard of this? surely i can't of blown it, n fuses must be ok else it would be dead, beyond me.

also a bigger head ache some little git has keyed down the side of my car this week :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead: i wish that wall was his head. anyway the car was stunning with its original paint work but i now need a respray and have decided to go for the lot doing, i've rung VW up and they cannot find the RIVAGE transfers that are on the rear quarter on their system, any 1 know where i can get my hands on a set or the VAG part no. other wise gunna have to go to a printers/transfer maker or what ever they are called, to get some made up,

again.. any1 had to do simular? or can recommend a good company for the job??
cheers

cheers mate, it just these little gits with nothing better to do
yer i've heard of the actual stick going but was thinking more like the display, just seems to much of a coincidence that it happened when the batt went if it is the display do i have to change the whole spedo/rev unit?
