clipper & karman ! whats the difrence

hya iv just baught a mk1 cabby of a mate, its a 1.8 carb model and its a f reg with all plastic arches and big bumpers in a bronze colour , the lad said its a clipper but theres karmen badges on it , any one help

hi i got a 91 karman clipper,i think the model is a clipper but the designer is karman.

karman was the company that changed the tin top to a cabby. clipper was a model name that stuck to all the convertibles with big bumpers although they did a clipper with smaller bumpers.
so no difference all cabbys are karman.
