where can i get a tailored car cover for the mk1..?

You'll be paying big bucks (?250+) for a made to measure cover.  
Just put "car cover mk1 golf" in google and loads of results come up

every floppy should have one

why? to stop the sunrrof going rusty? or the scuttle panel rotting through? or the inner tailgate seam disintergrating? or the rear window appertures rotting through?

oh my mistake its only tin tops that those things happen to

my floopy dont need one, its got a nice warm garage next to its VR6 highline friend :wink:

Don't use a car cover 8O I did with my last golf, and ended up with hundreds of 'microblisters' in the paint.  You will get condensation building up.  The pain has to 'breathe'.  If you MUST buy one, then buy a 'breathable' car cover :roll:

I got mine from Argos for ?25. It's a bugger to drive now though, can't seem to see for some reason!!

   Yeah thats purple too but not so aggressive as a 2.8 golf
